Join us for our Piedmont District Luncheon on May 18, 2022, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, in Charlotte, NC. Jack Christine will give the keynote address. Jack Christine is the Chief Operating Officer for the City's Aviation Department, which owns and operates Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). He is responsible for all aspects of airport development, operations and facility maintenance.

Jack Christine joined the Aviation Department in 1997 and started as a planning assistant. Since then, he has worked on a variety of projects that have included terminal expansions, the third parallel runway, a rail freight intermodal facility and the Aviation Department's consolidated rental car facility. His experience includes time spent working as the department's planner, planning and development manager and assistant aviation director of development.
In his current role, Christine has been charged with implementing Destination CLT, a five-year, $2.5 billion capital program that includes planning, design and construction of expansions of the terminal building, concourse expansions, and the development of a fourth parallel runway. Christine leads a dynamic group of staff in executing the day-to-day functions of the Aviation Department, including airside, landside, terminal and security operations. When it comes to facilities, Christine is responsible for all aspects of maintenance on the department's property. This includes building, airside, landside and vehicle maintenance.
