NCLBGC Courses

Carolinas AGC is proud to offer required NCLBGC training opportunities. Register today for any of our upcoming classes to fulfill your mandatory annual CE requirements before the end of the year! Visit our training and education calendar for more class information and to register.

Continuing Education Requirements for License Renewal
The NC Licensing Board for General Contractors requires 8 hours of continuing education to be completed annually in order to renew a license. At least one qualifier for licensees in the license classifications of Building, Residential and Unclassified must complete the 8 hours of CE. For the Unclassified license, it must be the qualifier who has passed the building examination.

The 8-hour course requirement includes a mandatory 2-hour course taught by instructors certified to teach this course. The remaining 6 hours will be elective courses produced by Board approved providers.

Management Education

Carolinas AGC's Management-level seminars are designed for project managers, vice presidents, engineers, architects, top management. The seminars consist of two full days, one day, or a half day. Visit our management education webpage for more information.

Project SuperVISION® Courses & Academy

Carolinas AGC is proud to offer a comprehensive education system to increase and upgrade the skills and knowledge of the construction supervisor. The system is structured to offer accredited recognition status, improve the image of the construction industry, build a suitable workforce for the industry, and strengthen alliances between construction supervisors and their employers. NCCER/Craft Training

The CAGC Foundation is an accredited training sponsor for NCCER .  The CAGC Foundation provides support to approved training locations by certifying instructors, assisting with program and curriculum selection, processing training completions and serving as the liaison between the training location and NCCER.
