Young Leader North Carolina Legislative Action Day                                                                                                                       

When: Wednesday, May 3, 2023 | 9:45am - 1:30pm
Where: NC Legislative Building (16 W Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27601)
Gravy (135 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27601)

Join us on Wednesday, May 3 as we take a trip to the NC Legislature to see the Legislators in Action!!! All attendees will be treated to a legislative briefing from Betsy Bailey to learn more about CAGC's ambitious legislative agenda that includes infrastructure funding, workforce initiatives, regulatory reform, and other issues important to your business. Young Leaders in attendance will also meet with Legislative leaders that are able to stop by. Attendees will tour the NC Legislative Complex before walking to Gravy (restaurant) for lunch.

Tentative Agenda:
9:45am - 10:00am: Gather at legislative complex (all registered attendees will get an email 5/2 with more details)
10:00am - 10:20am: Meeting with Rep. Arp
11:00am - 11:20am: Meeting with Rep. Bell
*In between meetings we will tour the building, attend committee meetings, and speak to other Representatives
11:45am- 12:00pm - Walk to Gravy Restaurant for lunch
12:15pm - 1:30pm: Lunch
1:30pm: Anyone that would like to sit in on a session is more than welcome to go back to the Legislative Complex for the afternoon.
