2024 North Carolina Legislative Day

Join us in Raleigh for our annual NC Legislative Day! 

CAGC has an ambitious legislative agenda that includes work zone safety initiatives, workforce programs, regulatory reform, and other issues important to your business.  We need you to help us advocate by attending our annual Legislative Day!

Attending the NC Legislative Day gives you an opportunity to meet with lawmakers to educate them on the issues and concerns of your business and our industry.  Because we are partnering with architects and others in the industry, it’s also a great way to network with partners and other stakeholders who support many of the same goals as CAGC.  

Attendees will begin the day with a legislative briefing from your NC Lobbyists who are looking out for our members and their bottom lines.   After breakfast, we will visit the North Carolina Legislative Complex to meet with legislators and attend legislative committees and sessions.  Additional information will be provided as we get closer to the date regarding setting up appointments with legislators. A box lunch will be provided at the AIA Headquarters. After lunch, the day will continue with additional legislative meetings. More details on the meetings will be provided soon!

7:30am - 8:00am: Registration
8:00am - 9:00am: Continental Breakfast and Legislative Briefing
9:00am - 12:00pm: Legislative Meetings at the Legislative Building or Legislative Office Building (more details to come)
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Lunch (box lunch provided)
1:30pm - 3:00pm: Legislative Meetings (more details to come)
