Join us in Raleigh for our annual NC Legislative Day! 

CAGC has an ambitious legislative agenda that includes infrastructure funding, workforce initiatives, regulatory reform, and other issues important to your business.  We need you to help us advocate by attending our annual Legislative Day!

Attending the NC Legislative Day gives you an opportunity to meet with lawmakers to educate them on the issues and concerns of your business and our industry.  Because we are partnering with architects and engineers, it’s also a great way to network with partners and other stakeholders who support many of the same goals as CAGC.  

Attendees will begin the day with a legislative briefing from your NC Lobbyists who are looking out for our members and their bottom lines. Legislative leaders will also be invited to provide remarks.  After lunch, we will visit the North Carolina Legislative Complex to meet with legislators and attend legislative committees and sessions. Appointments with legislators are strongly encouraged. We will finish the day with a reception at 4 p.m. at the Center for Architecture and Design in Downtown Raleigh (AIA NC Building). All legislators are invited to attend.

1:00pm - 4:00pm: Visits at Legislative Complex (Make an Appointment with Your Representative - Details Below)
4:00pm:  Reception at Center for Architecture and Design with Legislators

We're trying to match each legislator with a member of CAGC who lives in their district in hopes of building long-term relationships. We want our legislators to have access to reliable information about issues associated with the construction industry and know our members are among the best resources available.
