Carolinas AGC members and staff account for about two dozen award recipients on this year’s prestigious Business North Carolina’s Power List.

Business North Carolina recently released its fourth edition of the Power List, providing detailed information on about 500 of the state’s most influential business and nonprofit leaders.

In its annual magazine detailing the Power List recipients, Business North Carolina, says: “The nation’s ninth-most populous state has thousands of talented leaders, making this small sampling of those with noteworthy power.”

“Business North Carolina’s editorial team created the list after seeking nominations, talking with dozens of sources and performing extensive research,” the magazine says. “The mission is to provide an overview of North Carolinians who exert the most influence in our state and, in many cases, take active leadership roles in state and local activities.”

The Power List is divided into 17 categories, including Real Estate/Construction and Legal, representing a wide range of industry influencers. While executives at for-profit companies dominate, the list includes many leaders of nonprofit organizations that play key business and civic roles. The 2024 Power List recipients were honored at a reception in Raleigh on April 25th.
