CAGC & UMCNC Collaborate

Dave Simpson, Carolinas AGC President & CEO, makes a presentation to attendees of the annual meeting of the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina on May 5 in Raleigh. The event, held at the Vernon Malone College & Career Academy, gave Simpson and Bill Stricker, CAGC VP of Professional Development & Advisory Councils, an opportunity to discuss with attendees ongoing collaborative efforts by CAGC and UMCNC to team up more on education and training, networking and legislative issues. Also speaking at the annual meeting, of which CAGC was a co-sponsor, was Scott Cutler, CAGC Building Division Chair and Board of Directors member, of Clancy & Theys Construction Co. The effort marks a goal of CAGC Board Chair Edison Cassels and the Board of Directors to ramp up such efforts in both Carolinas.
