Join us for a NC Virtual Luncheon on Wednesday, August 26. Lt. Governor Dan Forest will give the keynote address. 

Dan Forest An architect, the Lieutenant Governor is also the Republican nominee for NC Governor, running against Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper in the Nov. 3 general election. Please plan on participating in this key conversation with Lt. Gov. Dan Forest in a race that is very important to the construction industry in North Carolina. This virtual meeting is free to all CAGC members and is part of our ongoing focus on bringing value to our members by giving you opportunities to listen to and ask questions to top candidates in major political races this year in both NC and SC.

Biography:
Dan Forest has served as Lt. Governor of North Carolina since January 2013. Prior to becoming Lt. Governor, he received two degrees from the University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC). After college, Dan became a leader in the business community for over 20 years, having served as Office President and Senior Partner of the state's largest architectural firm - Little Diversified Architectural Consulting. Dan has been designated as an Architect Emeritus. A father of four, he and his wife, Alice, reside in Wake County.

As Lieutenant Governor, Dan serves as the President of the North Carolina Senate and serves as a voting member of the State Board of Education, and the State Board of Community Colleges. On the State Board of Education he is the Chairman of the Special Committee on Digital Technology, which is tasked with the implementation of the state-wide digital technology plan. In addition, Dan is a member of the NC Advisory Commission on Military Affairs, the Food Manufacturing Task Force and serves as chair of both the Energy Policy Council and the Board of Postsecondary Education Credentials.
