Course Description:

Leadership via Transparency for the Construction Industry is a leadership development course aimed at construction executives that are struggling to get the buy in from the people doing the work in the field. This course will heavily emphasize how to improve communication between the field workers and leaders of organizations.

The focus will be on deepening these communication skills:
  • Listening – Listening to understand requires more than staying quiet while formulating an intelligent response.
  • Question Asking – Water skiing (only answering the question enough to make the other person quiet) and relying on leading questions keeps us from deeply connecting in our conversations.
  • Giving and Receiving Feedback – Giving and receiving feedback is kryptonite for a lot of professionals. Building this skill takes repetition.
  • Vulnerability – Vulnerability is a high-risk sport with no practice field. This is your practice field!

This course is professional leadership development disguised as a social community. Come get training in these communication skills in a setting that is comfortable and relaxed!
