About the Course
In the dynamic world of construction, effective leadership is the cornerstone of project success. The Leadership and Motivation unit within AGC’s Supervisory Training Program, 10th edition is designed to equip you with the tools and strategies needed to lead with confidence and inspire your team. The highly collaborative virtual program provides instruction via Zoom and is best suited for anyone on a construction jobsite in a supervisory role – from the new supervisor or foreman to the experienced superintendent who is looking to become a more effective manager of people, time, equipment and materials.
Defining the Role of a Leader: Understand the core responsibilities and qualities of an exceptional leader in construction. Learn how to set clear goals, make decisive decisions, and manage your team effectively.
Motivating Project Partners: Discover proven techniques to motivate your team and project partners. Learn how to foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and productivity.
Current Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends with insights into the latest leadership practices. Learn from real-world case studies and examples to apply these best practices in your own projects. The concepts in these units build on one another defining the roles of a leader in construction and motivating project partners. Communication is the key to a successful project outcome and collaboration is a large part of construction.
This course is 1 of 6 units in the newly updated Supervisory Training Program (STP); a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors. Cancellation Policy:
A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton@agc.org.
AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
