Overview

Carolinas AGC Safety Services Department has a full-time safety professional who works for you, as an extension of your own staff. We can help you establish a company safety and health program or evaluate the program currently in place.  We also provide tailored safety training and jobsite safety inspections. Our goal is to help you improve your "bottom line" through one-on-one contact and consultation.  Your CAGC safety professional is an OSHA 500 approved trainer, and we offer the OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour classes and much more.   

Carolinas AGC Safety Services has developed a direct partnership with both the North Carolina and South Carolina OSHA. This relationship helps keep the CAGC membership up to date on new safety standards and compliance tactics which affect the construction industry.  We have also partnered on joint training efforts and safety recognition programs such as the Carolina Building Star, a Voluntary Protection Program for construction.

The Carolinas AGC Safety & Health committee has worked on developing various guidelines, programs and seminars to help promote construction safety throughout the Carolinas .  Many of these programs are available free to members on this web site.
