Welcome to Carolinas AGC's Safety & Health Services. Safety and health on job sites is a critical function for the workplace today. While visiting our safety web pages, members can gain a wealth of information and see the many services we provide relating to construction safety and health here in the Carolinas.

Carolinas AGC Safety Services Department has a full-time safety professional who works for you, as an extension of your own staff. Your Safety Director, Kenny Boggs, is a Certified Safety Professional and has been involved in many facets of construction safety since 1995. We can help you establish a company safety and health program or evaluate the program currently in place. Our goal is to help you improve your "bottom line" through one-on-one contact and consultation. CAGC has the resources to take care of all your safety training needs, from scheduled classroom training, online training that you can receive at your convenience at home or at work, or on-site training where we can come to your office or jobsite!

Carolinas AGC Safety Services has developed a direct partnership with both the North Carolina and South Carolina OSHA and DOT’s. This relationship helps keep the CAGC membership up to date on new safety standards and compliance tactics which affect the construction industry locally and nationally. We have partnered on joint training efforts and safety recognition programs such as the Carolina Building Star, a Voluntary Protection Program for construction. CAGC also recognizes contractor members for excellence in safety through two Awards Programs: the Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) and the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA).

The Carolinas AGC Safety & Health committee has worked on developing various guidelines, programs and seminars to help promote construction safety throughout the Carolinas. Many of these programs are available free to members on this web site.
