General Contractor Membership is granted to general contractor companies licensed under the laws of North and/or South Carolina that are engaged in the business of general contracting. (The Board of Directors may grant exceptions to the licensing requirement.) All contractors who submit bids directly to owners or their agents must join Carolinas AGC as general contractor members. All general contractor members belong to one or more CAGC divisions-- building, highway-heavy or utility-- based on their primary area of work.
Non-Home General Contractor Membership is granted to general contractor member firms who have their business headquarters in another state and who are members of AGC through that home base. For Non-Home Member Dues call Roddy Craft at (704)372-1450 ext. 5224, or Email to rcraft@carolinasagc.org.
Carolinas AGC dues are an annual investment based on your company's Gross Construction Revenue. (Quarterly payment terms are available.) This investment includes membership in Carolinas AGC as well as AGC of America. For highway/transportation contractors: your dues investment includes membership in American Road & Transportation Builders of America (ARTBA).

- All private & public construction work (whether negotiated or competitively bid), including work done by wholly owned subsidiaries that are not members of Carolinas AGC.

- Construction manager fees.
- Work performed as a specialty/subcontractor.
- Work performed for any wholly-owned subsidiaries.
- Work performed on residential projects.

- Work performed on a facility owned by your own firm, parent firm or subsidiary.
- Work performed outside the Carolinas and reported to another AGC Chapter.
- Work performed by a wholly-owned subsidiary that is a member of Carolinas AGC.
