đź’° $1 Million Secured for Workforce Development
The Carolinas AGC Foundation will receive $1 million for workforce development through the recently approved North Carolina state budget. Special thanks to Betsy Bailey for her leadership in securing this important investment that will help strengthen the future construction workforce.
🏗️ North Carolina Budget Includes Major Construction Investments
The newly approved North Carolina budget also includes significant funding for the construction industry, including:
- $1.9 billion for construction projects at North Carolina universities and state agencies.
- $187 million added to the Highway Fund, bringing total funding to $3.4 billion for FY 2026-27.
- $121 million added to the Highway Trust Fund, bringing total funding to $2.6 billion.
