🏆 2026 CAGC Pinnacle Awards Now Open
The 2026 CAGC Pinnacle Awards program will begin accepting nominations beginning July 1 through August 5. General contractors are encouraged to submit their top building, highway-heavy, and utility projects completed between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, for one of Carolinas AGC's highest honors.

🛣️ Advocating for Long-Term Transportation Investment
Last week, Carolinas AGC joined AGC of America, Crowder Constructors, Inc., and Reeves Construction Company in Charlotte to highlight the importance of securing a long-term federal highway and transit bill. CAGC Board Chair Lynn Crowder, CEO of Crowder Constructors, Inc, represented our industry at the event and will continue that advocacy during a national media event next week.

In North Carolina, lawmakers continue working toward a state budget agreement.
In South Carolina, Attorney General Alan Wilson secured the Republican nomination for governor, while state lawmakers continue negotiations on the state budget.
