🏛️ Legislative Updates

  • In North Carolina, lawmakers continue working toward a state budget agreement, with hopes that a deal could be reached soon.
  • In South Carolina, primary runoff elections will be held on June 23. Several races remain competitive, including the Republican gubernatorial runoff. Following the runoffs, the South Carolina General Assembly is expected to return to Columbia to continue budget negotiations and conference committee work.

📝 Continuing Education Opportunity

🎓 Construction Boot Camps Continue to Expand

Construction Boot Camp programs continue to train the next generation of craft professionals. Richmond Community College will launch its first Construction Boot Camp cohort on June 15, helping strengthen the future construction workforce across the Carolinas.
