Baseline BASICS | April 22, 2025
Series Session 1 of 3 (2 hours)
Whether you're opening Bluebeam Revu software for the first time or you've been using it for years, this essential **Bluebeam Revu class** ensures everyone is starting from the same strong foundation. Developed by the certified instructors at UChapter2, this session teaches you how to navigate menus, toolbars, panels, shortcuts, and key settings. You’ll also get hands-on with markup and measurement tools, plus insider tips that boost speed, accuracy, and proficiency.

Offered by the certified instructors at UChapter2, this course introduces standard measurement tools and markup customization options to help convert your highlighters into powerful takeoff tools.
With emphasis on the Markups List and workflow tips, this **Bluebeam software course** helps estimators improve speed and accuracy from day one.

Session 3 of 3 (2 hours)
*Prerequisite: Baseline Basics & Takeoffs & Estimates – Basics*
This advanced class from UChapter2 takes your estimating to the next level. Learn to create custom columns, embed formulas, organize information, and export or live-link to Excel templates.
Estimators gain immediate, real-world skills they can put to work on the very next bid.

- Custom Estimating Tools (Continued from “Material Takeoffs & Estimates-Basics”)
- Collecting Rich Data with Custom Columns
- Reports and Exporting Data
Participants who successfully complete the 6-hour series will receive a Bluebeam Baseline Credential.
Course Requirements (Technology & Participation)
Please ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Please go to the Revu > About menu in the upper left corner of the Bluebeam interface. You’re required to have Version 2018 or newer for our Bluebeam courses. If this same windows say Unassigned at the top, your IT department needs to assign you a license so you can login and use Bluebeam software. Make sure this is complete prior to class start time.
- Attendance via tablet or phone is not recommended. You should have a mouse with a scroll wheel when attending this class. In Bluebeam there are several right-click shortcuts, and the wheel will help you zoom in/out on documents.
- A 2-screen computer set-up is recommended. This will allow you to watch the instructor on one screen while practicing on the other.

CAGC Education Refund & Cancellation Policy
A 50% refund of the original registration fee if cancellation is made 7 days prior to the event. Any cancellations less than 7 days or no shows receive no refund. Substitutions arewelcome, but will not be allowes less than 48 hours before the class start time.
Note: Unless otherwise stated, every person able to see, hear, and observe the virtual course sessions must be a paid participant. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in removal from the course. Refunds will not be issued to students who are removed from the course for non-compliance of this requirement.
