About the Course

This course provides practical guidance on the proactive management of claims and disputes in construction projects, equipping participants with the tools to reduce risk and protect their company’s interests. Key topics include contract review, proper identification and documentation of delays, and proven methods for evaluating time impacts on a project. In addition, the class addresses unique schedule considerations in design-build delivery, with a focus on heavy civil construction, and offers an overview of the most common project factors that influence schedules and contract time.

Requirements:

Participants are required to have a computer equipped with a camera and microphone
Participation by cell phone or tablet is not permitted. If you are using a phone for the class you will be asked to reschedule
Participation while driving is prohibited, if you are thought to be driving you will be removed and will not receive credit for the class.
Participants will be required to show a photo ID to be admitted into the virtual classroom.
You will be required to keep your camera on and be present on camera the entire class.
You cannot attend another meeting during this class. If you are off camera longer than 5 minutes during the class, your attendance will not be counted.
Please be sure to log on at least 30 minutes before class starts so that participant & Qualifier id’s can be confirmed.
Admittance to a class after it has started is not permitted.
If you inform us prior to the class beginning that you will not be able to attend or you are having technical issues, then you will be transferred to another class of your choosing.
If you are a “No Show” for the class, your registration fee will be forfeited.
