Holiday Cheer Delivered Through Lane the Loader™ Fund

This past holiday season, the Carolinas AGC Foundation invited supporters to help deliver joy, knowledge, and hope to children at Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families. Through the Lane the Loader™ Fund, donors provided books focused on construction, engineering, and design—introducing children to the world of building and inspiring future architects, engineers, and construction leaders.

As part of our Load Lane with Holiday Cheer campaign, we partnered with Black Mountain Home, a nonprofit that has served as a safe haven for children since 1904. Following a devastating landslide that destroyed several buildings on their campus, the organization worked tirelessly to rebuild and continue caring for youth who have faced abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Thanks to generous contributions, we delivered the magic of reading—books that sparked joy, fueled imagination, and offered hope for the future. Together, we brought holiday cheer and inspired young minds through the power of books.
