The Carolinas AGC Foundation High School Chapters connect students with the commercial construction industry and provide real-world career exploration opportunities.
What We Provide
As a participating High School Chapter, your students and faculty will gain access to:
- Connections with local general contractors and subcontractors
- Sponsored safety trainings
- Job site visits and classroom speakers
- Scholarship opportunities and application support
- Presentations and activity sheets
- Resume posting on the NCCER Career Starter website
- Work-based learning and apprenticeship opportunities
- Monthly newsletter for faculty/staff sponsors
School Responsibilities
To ensure success, participating schools agree to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact
- Facilitate student participation
- Coordinate logistics on campus
- Support career exploration activities
- Share feedback and success stories
- Have juniors and seniors create a profile on the NCCER Career Starter website
