What a week at the 2026 Carolinas AGC Convention in Aruba! More than 500 construction professionals came together for several days of connection, learning, and celebration in a setting that made it easy to build relationships and step back from the day-to-day.
From networking receptions and committee gatherings to packed general sessions, the convention delivered meaningful opportunities to connect with peers from across the Carolinas. Attendees heard timely industry insights, national perspectives, and practical takeaways they can bring back to their companies and teams.
One of the week’s highlights was our keynote presentation from Lt Col Scott “Kidd” Poteet (Ret.), whose message on leadership, teamwork, resilience, and humility left a lasting impression. His experiences offered a powerful reminder of what it means to lead well under pressure and support the people around you.
We were also proud to celebrate excellence in construction during the Pinnacle Awards, recognizing projects and people who continue to move our industry forward.
