Carolinas AGC announces the semi-retirement of longtime staff member Bill Stricker, our Vice President of Operations & Workforce Development, as of Jan. 1, 2020. Bill has moved into a part-time position and will concentrate on Utility Division members/prospective members and our partnership with NCCER. He also will oversee the training of our new Education/Training/Safety Manager who will be hired in the near future. As our senior staff member, Bill has been with CAGC since July 15, 1987. We applaud his excellent work over the past 32+ years and look forward to his continuing leadership and teamwork.
Also effective Jan. 1, we are pleased to announce that Leslie Clark has transitioned into the role of Vice President of Operations and Director of South Carolina Government Relations & Divisions, while continuing to be based in Columbia. We look forward to Leslie, a 20-year CAGC veteran, excelling in her new role.
“Bill Stricker has done an outstanding job in his 32-year plus history with Carolinas AGC and we are delighted that he is staying on board with his important role,” said Dave Simpson, CAGC President & CEO. “At the same time, we are very enthusiastic about the new role and additional responsibilities for Leslie Clark, who in her 20 years with CAGC has also excelled greatly and is a key leader on our top-notch staff team.”
