About the Course

Electrical hazards can have life-changing consequences. Make sure your employees have the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to recognize those hazards and make safer decisions in the field.

Join Carolinas AGC for this comprehensive, instructor-led  Arc Flash/NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training, designed for construction, maintenance, electrical, safety and supervisory personnel who work on or near electrical equipment.

This is not a typical sit-through-the-slides safety class.

The instructor brings decades of real-world electrical and construction experience into the classroom, helping participants understand not only what the standards require, but **how electrical safety applies to the situations, shortcuts and challenges workers encounter every day on the jobsite

What Makes This Training Different?
This fast-paced, interactive course combines classroom instruction with **hands-on exercises, group activities and real-world demonstrations** designed to keep participants engaged and help them retain what they learn.

Participants will take part in:

* Hands-on electrical test meter inspection and usage
* PPE demonstrations and practical exercises
* FR clothing and electrical protective equipment demonstrations
* Insulated tool demonstrations and exercises
* Group exercises and real-world problem solving
* Practical discussion of electrical hazards encountered in construction and maintenance
* Opportunities to ask questions throughout the class
* Testing to reinforce understanding of the material

The goal is not simply to complete a required class. Participants should leave with a better understanding of electrical hazards, a greater respect for the risks associated with energized equipment and practical knowledge they can apply when they return to work.
