With G20 finance meetings bringing international attention to Asheville this week, CAGC member John Anglin of Branch was tapped to provide a construction industry perspective on workforce, trade and economic issues affecting Western North Carolina.
Anglin spoke with the Asheville Citizen-Times and WLOS after being contacted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to participate in local media interviews surrounding the meetings.
“You look around the devastation, and you see billions of dollars in public and private property loss. You realize you’re in a position where you need every bit of help you can get,” Anglin said during an interview with the Blue Ridge Times.
