CAGC Community Impact Award

Carolinas AGC is excited to announce the winners of the 2025 CAGC Community Impact Awards program. The CAGC Community Impact Awards honor member companies that are making significant contributions to their communities through their time, actions, talents, dedication, and resources. Honorees serve as role models for compassion and service, and they strive to make their community and the communities throughout North Carolina and South Carolina better places to live and work.  

The 31 CAGC Community Impact Award recipients will be honored at the Carolinas AGC Summer Summit to be held in Hilton Head in July.

Community Impact programs are recognized by:

  • the size and scope of the community program/project and how it may be considered going above and beyond the call of duty;
  • the organization that benefitted from the program/project;
  • the impact of the program/project and how it has made a lasting or meaningful contribution or impact on their community.

Asheboro Quarry donated over 35k tons of ABC to NC Zoological Society. Hickory Quarry served as a collection site for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Onslow Quarry supported local law enforcement officials by providing donations and teddy bears to support children caught in difficult situations.

Partnered with Equuvation which specializes in therapy and mental health programs. These programs focus on a holistic, community-centered mental health solution.

Offered Hurricane Helene relief in many ways including having employees work with Spartanburg Emergency Management and Broadway Fire Department.

Rogers Group Project

Was busy looking for ways to help and support in all areas of the community, whether it was education, disaster relief, or first responders and local law enforcement.

S.T. Wooten Corporation Project

S.T. Wooten Corporation
Worked with Imagination Station Science and History Museum to actively support and encourage local children whether they are preschool age or high school age or even homeschooled.

Wherever they had a project, an outreach project was done. Established their own Foundation to make sure there was a focus on giving back to their community.

Hosted Charity Golf that benefits the Boys & Girls Club and Salvation Army. They were also part of the Durham Rescue Mission to help hurricane survivors.
