Workers’ Compensation Insurance Services

CAGC Insurance Company (CIC) is a licensed admitted workers’ comp carrier that succeeded CompTrustAGC of North Carolina on July 1, 2008. 

The licensing of CIC in North Carolina eliminated the joint & several liability provision associated with CompTrust.  CIC anticipates being licensed in South Carolina in late 2008, and plans to bring all members of CompTrustAGC of SC into CIC in 2009.  In the meantime these entities are writing new business in both North and South Carolina.

These programs have 25 years of experience in providing workers’ compensation coverage to contractors in the Carolinas.

Our loss control and claims management services are designed specifically to help contractors manage experience modifications.  Monthly self-audits for contractors allows our insureds to incur only actual workers’ compensation insurance cost.  Our goal is to provide “workers’ comp that works for you.”
