Our Services | Who has used our Spanish Training Services?

There has been tremendous growth in the Hispanic population and a key element to the construction workforce is the Hispanic worker. The growth will continue for years to come. Both North Carolina and South Carolina will continue expanding their need for the Hispanic construction worker.

When an employer chooses to employ a non-English speaking worker, (Hispanic, Vietnamese, Bosnian etc.) that employer is bound by the OSHA Act to provide the same level of training. Lately OSHA has taken additional actions to bring the information to the Hispanic worker.

Carolinas AGC Safety Services Department has a full-time safety professional who works for you, as an extension of your own staff. Our Safety Trainer adds that extra level of expertise by having the ability of providing all of the Carolinas AGC services in Spanish.

Our services are offered at a location of your choosing:

  • On-Site Training, (OSHA 10 & 30 Hour Course) in Spanish
  • OSHA Topic Specific Classes in Spanish
  • Customized classes - “Design your own Seminar” in Spanish
  • On-demand classes for groups of 20 or more
  • Spanish written materials
  • Job Orientation Service in Spanish
  • Pre-Qualification of Subcontractors in Spanish
  •  Hispanic Culture Classes for Upper/Middle Management - (The rapid increase of the Hispanic workforce in the Carolinas has brought an integration challenge. As companies have attempted strategies using current methods, many are finding difficulties. The current immigrant worker is a major backbone of the labor force in the USA and now in the Carolinas. It is abundantly clear that there is more to overcome than the language barrier. Understanding how to overcome the cultural differences between the US (American) employer and the Hispanic worker will help the efficiency of the company and get the most from your Hispanic workforce. )
