CAGC Honors Safety Excellence Award Winners at Convention

Carolinas Associated General Contractors recognized eight Carolinas construction firms for their safety excellence at CAGC's 90th Annual Convention in January. The Safety Excellence Award is based on:

  • Upper management and./or owner commitment,
  • Broad-scale worker training,
  • Active participation at the grass roots level, and
  • Creativity and uniqueness in a company's overall safety program.

Candidates must not only present a formal written program, they also make a verbal presentation to a judges' panel, which includes NC OSHA representatives, insurance representatives, and CAGC contractor members who have previously won national first place safety awards.
