Time: 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The N.C. Department of Labor will sponsor a series of forums for construction workers to reduce fatalities and injuries in one of the state's most dangerous industries.
State and industry experts will identify trends in the construction industry that are most likely to represent lethal dangers. Some of the topics covered include fall protection, trenching and excavation safety, electrical safety and struck-by hazards. A panel of experts will also discuss residential and commercial construction.
The forums are free and will be held in English and Spanish. To register, visit the NCDOL Web site at www.nclabor.com and click on “Construction Forum,” or click here.
