Carolinas Associated General Contractors Group & Members Honored in National Safety Awards Program

Charlotte, NC — May 7, 2010 — The Carolinas Associated General Contractors (Carolinas AGC) and its member companies took second place in AGC of America's 2009 National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) competition. AGC of America is the nation's largest association of commercial contractors.

Recognition is based on a weighted average of participation and overall safety incidence rate of the chapter's general contractor members. Carolinas AGC has approximately 550 general contractor members—this award is in the category of AGC Chapters with Over 200 General Contracting Members.
