CAGC and Owners Present Construction Forecast

Carolinas AGC and a handful of owners made a presentation April 8 in Durham on the Construction Forecast for 2010-2012. The hour-long, televised event-which drew about 100 contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and owners representatives—included details of more than $750 million planned to be spent on construction by Duke University, NC Central University, Duke Health Systems as well as local governments and schools. CAGC NC Building Director Dave Simpson made a presentation on the economic forecast for the nonresidential construction market.
