State Commissions/Councils
Carolinas AGC works closely with the following agencies and
commissions to ensure that the interests of the construction
industry are well represented. CAGC staff, for instance, works
closely with the state engineer's office in both states to ensure
that proper bidding guidelines are implemented. In addition, key
CAGC leaders are members of such important groups as the NC Licensing
Board for General Contractors, the State Building Commission and the State
Building Code Council. CAGC lobbyists work closely with all industry-related
agencies and commissions in attending meetings, providing input to appointed
and elected officials as well as lawmakers.
