Sixth Annual Young Leaders Conference

The 2021 CAGC Young Leader Conference was one for the record books! We enjoyed hosting over 125 of the industry's top young leaders at the Charlotte Westin where we were able to connect November 4 - 5.  With two keynote addresses, a diversity and inclusion panel,  technology symposium with demonstrations, breakout sessions, legislative updates, and a top notch industry leader panel, the conference was a huge success! Founder and CEO of The Authenticity Guide

I feel a pressing need for work to feel more human and for humans at work to feel more authentic.

Julia WuenchJulia is a recovering perfectionist, leadership and career coach, corporate trainer and keynote speaker with a mission to enhance human connection and fulfillment at work and in life. Using positive psychology and my blueprint The Authenticity Guide, she provides critical confidence and “soft-skills” training to individuals, corporate and university teams.

Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (magna cum laude) from Brandeis University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Mike Lee

Through his experience building an international basketball brand from his college apartment, and growing it while battling anxiety and depression, Mike understands the challenges leaders face in this rapidly changing, uncertain and demanding world.

Drawing on the latest research from neuroscience, sports psychology and personal experience, he’s shared stories and practical exercises — across the United States, Europe and Asia — to help people find their own inner power and poise to thrive in business and life.

Breakout session speaker: Stahler McKinney

Stahler McKinneyAs a consultant in FMI’s strategy practice, Stahler advises a broad range of clients throughout the built environment, including contractors, architects, engineers, technology suppliers and construction materials producers.  

His focus is primarily on strategic thinking and go-to market approach, helping clients make informed strategic choices and develop plans for implementation. This is accomplished primarily through a combination of market research and business analytics, including market sizing and forecasting, stakeholder interviews, financial performance evaluation and trends analysis. Stahler also works closely with a number of industry associations. 

Prior to joining FMI, Stahler was a financial advisor with UBS in Charlotte, NC.
