Apprenticeship Agreement with CAGC, NCWorks and CPCC CAGC has a signed joint pre-apprenticeship agreement with NC Works Division of Apprenticeship and Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) to provide basic construction trades education.

The program, utilizes the NCCER Core curriculum as the foundation for training and will expose participants to:

  • Basic construction skills
  • Introduction to electricity
  • Basic welding
  • Print reading
  • HVAC
Participants are held to strict standards for attendance and grades with an overall 2.0 GPA requirement for completion. Participants will receive an OSHA 10 hour card documenting their safety training. At the end of training participants will have mastered fundamental construction skills which will make them employable in entry level positions by most construction trades. Further training and education will be required for these participants to become skilled craftsman.
