SC Young Leader Day at the State House

When: Wednesday, October 4, 2023 | 10:00am - 1:30pm 
Where: SC State House | Palmetto Club 

Join us on Wednesday, October 4 at the SC State House for the first SC Young Leader Legislative Day! Everyone who attends will have the opportunity to learn more about the legislative process, tour the state house (and an exclusive tour of the basement and its underground tunnels) and, meet with representatives including Rep. Gary Brewer. We will wrap up our day with lunch at the Palmetto Club! 

Agenda:
10:00 a.m. - Meet at the State House Steps (front of State House facing Gervais Street)
10:15 - 11:30 a.m. - Inside the State House (Tour the Lobby, House Chamber and Senate Chamber, Basement Tour) along with Rep. Gary Brewer and Clerk of the SC House of Representatives.
*Basement Tour includes a network of underground tunnels & state-of-the-art earthquake isolators.
11:30am - Discussion of Legislative Process
12:15 p.m. - Group Lunch at Palmetto Club, CAGC Legislative Update 
 
Cost:
