Join us for our Quarterly Western Luncheon, on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018, from Noon - 1:30pm, in Asheville NC.
As the Asheville area continues to grow, local contractors are beginning to identify a link between high housing costs; employee recruitment, productivity, and retention; and their own bottom line. Are high housing costs undermining your ability to attract and retain workers? Should the increasing cost of housing be added to the list of traditional business concerns?
Jeff Staudinger, a leading proponent of local affordable housing finance policy and strategy with the City of Asheville, will join us at our next CAGC lunch to discuss the City’s plans for addressing this issue.
Jeff became the Community Development Director for the City of Asheville, NC in 2009, and was promoted to Assistant Director of the Community and Economic Development Department on 2015. Jeff’s work with the City of Asheville focused on affordable housing policy development and funding. For that work he was recognized by the North Carolina Housing Coalition as “Affordable Housing Professional of the Year” in 2016. Although he retired from the City of Asheville in June of 2107, he is currently serving as the Interim Community Development Director, while offering community development consulting to local governments, non-profits and housing developers.
The Western Executive Luncheon will likely SELL OUT so be sure to check back here to register right away! Registration is $35 per person for CAGC member companies and $55 per person for non-member companies; all welcome!
