Essentials of Field Management
The Carolinas AGC is proud to partner with the AGC of Colorado and the Commercial Building Institute (CBI) to bring Essentials of Field Management to the construction industry in the Carolinas.
The Essentials of Field Management course is designed to expand the knowledge of construction professionals who are looking to grow in their career. Ideal candidates for this course include field and project engineers, forepersons, assistant superintendents, and anyone looking to gain a thorough understanding of the commercial construction building process. Sessions include a deep dive into building a project from the ground up.

*Note: These are three separate training units. Participants are not required to attend all three units. You may take as many as you like; however, you must register for each unit you wish to take.

June 8- Session 1: Caste-In-Place Concrete and Post Tensioned Concrete
June 10- Session 2: Structural Steel
June 15- Session 3: Weather Barrier Installation, Dry-In and Glass and Glazing Systems
June 17- Session 4: Masonry
June 22- Session 5: Major Equipment: HVAC, Elevators, Escalators
UNIT 3: FINISHES & BUILDING SYSTEMS
JULY - 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 (3PM TO 6PM MT)
July 13- Session 1: HVAC, Plumbing and MEP
July 15- Session 2: Fire Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, and Smoke Control
July 20- Session 3: Specialty: Kitchens, Laundries, Science Labs, Bathrooms
July 22- Session 4: Healthcare Facilities and Infection Control
July 27- Session 5: Tile & Stone, and Flooring Finishes

Cost, Registration & Payment Information
Cost: CAGC Members-$650 per unit ($1,950 total) | Non-Members-$850 per unit ($2,550)

CAGC Refund & Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be made for cancellations received 14 calendar days before the first day of class. After that date, no refunds will be granted. Replacements accepted.
