IBuild Gone PDF!

All plans, specs, & addenda posted in IBuild after 8/18/09 are in the familiar Acrobat PDF format (instead of the previous "djvu" format). Every IBuild user will benefit from this improvement!

For All CAGC members:

For PLUS-level members viewing Plans Online (& anyone invited to a member GC's Invitation-Access private project):

Printing:

• Print settings are "sticky" (don't have to be re-set upon each print command)
• Print multiple files at once after download.
• "Batching print" online is fast and easy.

Downloading:
Download plans/specs as either multiple files or as a multi-page single file.

Takeoffs Onscreen:
IBuild's free eSOFTakeoff software works on both .pdf files and .djvu files. In fact, you can use it to perform takeoffs on pdf files downloaded from sources other than IBuild. Get more information about doing onscreen takeoffs.

For General Contractors Posting Private Work:

Member GC's can upload documents for Invitation-Access or Member-Access private projects in seconds. Most any conventional file type will work with the new upload tool upon rollout - pdf, jpeg, tiff, bmp and more (no "zipping" required).
