Carolinas AGC Reviewing Davis Bacon Wage Determinations for NC & SC

Carolinas AGC is conducting a comprehensive review of recently implemented Davis Bacon Wage Determinations for North & South Carolina (See recent article here). Many of the determinations appear to be grossly inflated and atypical of actual wage averages. As we move forward in our review, we will take appropriate action to address unrealistic determinations with the US Department of Labor. We will keep you posted.

NCDOT requests highway contractor participation in developing wage rate information. The USDOL is seeking a more accurate wage rate determination than the one issued September 30, 2011. Available online beginning February 27.
