Specialty Contractors, Suppliers, Service Providers - You Have a Voice at CAGC!

Specialty Contractors and Suppliers or Service Companies have guaranteed representation on the Board of Directors: four dedicated seats on the Board of Directors are reserved for the leadership of the Specialty Contractor Advisory Council and the Supplier/Service Company Advisory Council. Further, employees of these firms are eligible to be nominated for seven other Board seats. All members have a voice in Carolinas AGC.

Council members are appointed by the CAGC Board Chair-Elect in consultation with the respective Advisory Councils' Chairs-Elect, and approved by the Board of Directors. Council members must be employees of CAGC member companies in the Specialty Contractor Division or Supplier/Service Company Division.

Specialty Contractor Advisory Council

The CAGC Specialty Contractor Advisory Council was formed to provide its members a forum to discuss issues or express viewpoints related to their segment of the commercial/industrial construction industry. The Council's primary responsibilities include researching such issues and making recommendations to the CAGC Board of Directors. Its members focus on promoting cooperative, sound business practices for Specialty Contractors and improving relations with other sectors of the industry.

Supplier/Service Company Advisory Council

The CAGC Supplier/Service Company Advisory Council provides a forum to represent the needs, problems, and concerns of Supplier or Service Company members to the Board of Directors. The Supplier/Service Company Advisory Council also has traditionally worked with CAGC to develop and promote networking activities for Association members, and promote fundraising events to benefit the Foundation for the Carolinas Construction Industry.
