Carolinas AGC helps strengthen our members' business in three primary ways:

Helping contractors grow revenues:
As the region’s premier clearinghouse connecting owners, architects/ engineers, general contractors, specialty contractors & suppliers, our IBuild web site provides members a searchable database of real-time leads on hundreds of public & private bidding projects in the Carolinas.

IBuild also provides a free online Plan Room for every GC member - GC’s can send bid notices, track bidders' interest, and find additional bidders. Subcontractors and suppliers see work posted by a given GC, and/or forward their qualifications to get on GCs’ “private lists.”

Helping contractors manage their workforce:
Our “A to Z” education and training menu includes options for all sizes of construction firms.

  • Accredited craft worker training programs
  • Customized craft training programs for individual members’ needs
  • The only supervisor training and certification of its kind in the US
  • Executive-level management education
  • Safety training

Helping contractors prosper in today's legal / regulatory environment:
A wide array of resources help member firms manage the risk areas that affect a construction company's bottom line: safety , legislative , environmental, legal/regulatory , labor relations & HR. Association staff specializes in the same areas as construction firms, focusing on building , highway , and utility contractors; specialty contractors and suppliers of products and services.
